WBH provides housing to seniors in Fort McMurray at Rotary House, Legion Manor, and Araubasca House.

Assistance is provided to seniors 65+. You must have been a resident of the Region of Wood Buffalo for a minimum of three months before applying.

Rent will be based on 30% of your income. If renting at Legion Manor or Araubasca House, there is a $50 per month charge for the cost of utilities.

Legion Manor and Araubasca House: These 30 self-contained units are individual, one-bedroom apartments. These are deficit-funded by the provincial government.

Rotary House Lodge: Independent living with some supports (bathing, dressing, and medical reminders) provided by home care if the resident is a home care client. Rotary House also provides meals, snacks, weekly light housekeeping and in-house recreation as part of the residents $515 (per person) monthly service fee. Personal laundry service is available if the resident would like and that fee is $40. This is funded through municipal requisitions.
